Loreto Martina
Loreto Martina was born in San Vendemiano di Treviso in 1953. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice where he graduated in painting in 1977, the year in which he made his debut in a group exhibition. He holds his first solo show, pencil drawings mainly portraying portraits, at the Barbacan Gallery in Treviso with a presentation by Carlo De Roberto. The exhibition curriculum continues on a regular basis both in the private sphere and in public venues, combining pictorial activity with the teaching of artistic subjects. His works are permanently preserved at the Palazzo Sarcinelli Modern Art Gallery in Conegliano and at Palazzo Foscolo in Oderzo. There are also numerous paintings belonging to private collections. He lives and works in Mareno di Piave in the province of Treviso.
